The Lychee Honey originates from Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province. Typically produced and harvested during the lunar March, coinciding with the lychee trees blossoming, which lasts for about a month. During this period, there are usually around 300-500 bee trucks transporting bees from the southern regions and Central Highlands for harvesting.
This honey has a light, captivating golden color and a slightly thinner consistency compared to regular honey types like coffee blossom honey, acacia honey, or rubber tree honey. Its distinct aroma of lychee flowers and a gentle sweetness make it stand out. Additionally, it remains resistant (very slowly) to increasing the color or crystallization.
We often have this honey available, albeit in limited quantities, averaging around 3-5 containers per year, depending on pre-orders and demand.
