     Highlands Honeybee Travel Co., Ltd. is a family-owned and operated business based in Dak Lak Province, Vietnam. Founded in 2018 by Mr. Bat, we initially operated as a local ecotourism business, primarily focused on bee-related activities, and now specialize in the production and export of high-quality Vietnamese honey.

     The Bat family has a long and rich history in the honey industry. In 1978, Mr. Bat’s eldest brother, Mr. Phuc, was supported by the government to establish a beekeeping research team. In 1995, Mr. Phuc brought his siblings and their children to the south of Vietnam to start a business in honey production. Over the years, the Bat family has experienced both ups and downs in the Vietnamese honey industry. However, they have persevered and achieved notable successes. For example, Mr. Tu, the fourth child in the family, was once the largest beekeeper in Binh Phuoc Province with over 3,000 beehives in 2014. The youngest brother, Mr. Bat, has over 5 years of experience in honey collection, processing, and selling finished honey to export companies.

     With their extensive knowledge, experience, and understanding of the Vietnamese honey industry, Mr. Tu, Mr. Bat, and Mr. Tu’s son, Mr. Cong, began exporting their first containers of honey in 2021. The journey began with challenges, as the USA imposed anti-dumping tariffs exceeding 60% after their first year of export, causing setbacks for many honey companies. However, leveraging their expertise in honey sourcing from various regions, we managed quality better and successfully met the demand for honey exports to the European Union.
